We are a fully recognized chapter of the national organization Quilts for Kids. Our goal is to make and donate quilts for kids to various local groups and organizations that will use them for children in need: hospitals, fire departments, shelters, wherever kids need comfort and assistance.
If you ask for a quilt kit from the national office of Quilts for Kids, it must be returned to the national office.

We need help with everything! Your time, supplies and monetary assistance will all be appreciated and used.

Individuals are needed to organize kits, sew quilt tops, quilt and bind. Kits can be picked up at Kat Lovers Purrr-fect Quilting; please call in advance to make sure there are kits ready. You can also put together a quilt top on your own – go to http://www.quiltsforkids.org/patterns and check out the patterns or create one of your own.
Supplies needed include kids’ fabrics in usable amounts and batting (low loft). Monetary donations will be used to for supplies as needed.
