Note from the President

Another cold, snowy month has passed. I kept busy piecing projects that have lived with me long enough! Now to get busy quilting them. I hope you all have had time to get some quilting done.

We have so many going on this month. I encourage all of you to come and see what Jodi Savage will be offering. I promise it will be worth your time. Sharon will be showing our first project that we will work on March 12.

You don't want to miss out on all that our guild has to offer. I hope to see you all at the meeting.

Note from Wanda

I apologize for forgetting Cora Nappo when I recognized the officers and committee members from last year at the January meeting. Cora served as our "Quilts of Valor" contact and delivered quilts to Kate Myers for the guild. Cora's cupcake potholder was sent to her by mail, but I wanted to express my appreciation to Cora as one of the members who served the guild during the past year. Thank you Cora!

Dues

Remember 2011 dues are now due. By paying now, your name will in the membership booklet which will come out at the March meeting. Please check the 2010 booklet to make sure your information is correct. If not correct, please notify Pat Lakers at lakersp@comcast.net or Lin Stricker at newsrtgg@comcast.net.

Door Basket

This month's basket of goodies will have batiks and a $25 gift certificate from YLI for you to order some thread directly from YLI plus some other items. Tickets will be available before the meeting starts, for $1.00 each.

Cincinnati Trip - International Quilt Show
Any questions about the bus trip see JoAnn. If interested in joining us for the IQS Show, April 7 through 9, you can give me a check at the meeting.

Name Tags

Anyone interested in a name tag they are $7.00, checks can be given to JoAnn and made out to GOLD STAR AWARDS.

Hospitality House

Wanda plans to be at the guild meeting with the fun "brown bag selection" to get the members started on their Hospitality House Quilts. This will be for those who were unable to attend the last meeting and for anyone who wants to make more than one quilt for the Hospitality Houses
