April's Meeting and Cindy Blackberg

Our guest speaker this month was renowned teacher Cindy Blackberg.  She is famous for her hand quilting and her stamps for marking your fabrics.  She brought several quilts to show and also had supplies for sale.

We had 47 members and guests present for the meeting.  We gave out 4 door prizes and Cora Nappo won the membership drawing.

We were supposed to bring our blocks for the block drawing and ended up with 22 blocks turned in.

The second clue for the "Mystery Quilt" was handed out.

Announcements:

Block Drawing - Next block drawing will be in June.  It will be a Judy Martin star block (flag).

FQ Drawing - The next fat quarter drawing will be in June.  Please bring Red, White, Cream and Blue fat quarters.

Pin Money Sale - this will be held at our May meeting!  Monday May 18, 2015.  Please let Dee know if you will need a table for this event.

Hospitality House Quilts - These will be due at our June meeting.  The requirements are that it must have blue in it and it must have 4 patches in it.  Laura will not be providing labels this year so please make your own.
