May 2016 Meeting

We had a fun meeting last night and learned a few new tips and tricks.

Toni Carringer and Patty Ashworth along with Narda did a skit for us about the quilt police and it was very funny.

Ann showed us how to bind curves using bias binding, Pat showed us how to add a tape to the back of the quilt before you bind and how to use the binding tool and Celia showed us how to press seams opposite so that they nest together when you have multiple seams connecting.

We had one new guest in attendance and we gave out 4 door prizes and a membership drawing prize.
Verilyn Smith won the membership drawing.

Hospitality House: The Hospitality House quilts due date has been changed from September to August.  Please have all quilts finished and turned in by our August meeting.  If you have any questions please see Cindy Conrad.
