August 2016 Meeting - Hospitality House

It's that time of year again where we turn in our finished quilts for the Hospitality House. We had 33 members in attendance.


This year Cindy Conrad was in charge of the challenge and the theme was "Cancer Colors". We were to choose one or more colors from the cancer color handout to make our quilts.  The fabrics in the quilts had to be made up of 50% of the color(s) chosen.


We had 29 beautiful quilts turned in.

Christmas Mystery - These are due at the October meeting.

Fat Quarter Drawing -  Bring 3 FQ's in fall colors please.

Patty Ashworth's Christmas Stocking Challenge - For the Christmas Party Exchange this year we are making stockings.  They need to look like quilter's stockings.  They can be any size, color, or configuration.  Feel free to embellish and have fun.
