July 2018 Meeting

REMINDER; Our August meeting will be on TUESDAY, August 14 at 6:00 pm at the Cheyenne Building at 944 Oak Ridge Turnpike. We are celebrating the presentation of the Hospitality House Quilts.

Narda opened the meeting with a demonstration on the Stitch & Slash method she used to cover some "puppy loved" pillows that her dog has enjoyed in the past...neat looking pillows and an interesting method for creating some beautiful work.

As the meeting started, Julie Niles gently reminded us to be respectful of others who have the floor and NOT TALK while others are talking. It is obvious we all love being together so much that we want to catch up and visit but let's try to do better about being quiet while someone is explaining or talking! ZIP IT!
