We had such a lovely outing at Melton Lake Pavilion . The weather was perfect! We talked about some of the ways to make a half square triangle. Once you open that can of worms, there are too many ways to count!
We also discussed our Ritzy 25th anniversary this year and have decided to have a Quilters Bake Off. This will coincide with Hospitality House when we donate the quilts to Methodist Hospital. A GREAT celebration! For the Quilters Bake Off, it has to be a homemade sweet ie. cake, pie, candy, fudge, and NOT be store bought. Bring recipe to share and we will put it in the Newsletter. I think we need to have a taste test to see who a winner can be, with a prize!
