Hospitality House - Quilt Challenge

7TH ANNUAL RITZY THIMBLE QUILT GUILD CHALLENGE

Quilts will be donated to Hospitality House in Oak Ridge.

Our theme this year will be “games people play.”
The “game” is subject to your own interpretation. It could be a sport, board game, children’s game or you could use fabric with a “game” theme. Just use your imagination and have fun with this!

Your quilt must also have a label with the Ritzy Thimble Quilt Guild, Oak Ridge, TN. And the date on it. Your name or initials are optional.

There will be three “cash” prizes in the form of gift certificates. In order to qualify for the prizes, your quilt must be at least 50”x60” or if square, 50”x”50”. Preferably your quilt will be “54”x67”.

We will once again have independent judges this year, with different “unique” categories for the winners.

Remember the goal of this project is to donate as many quilts as possible to the Hospitality House. This should be a very easy theme and I hope everyone will contribute to this very worth while cause. You don’t need to purchase fabric….you can play with your stash!

You may make a quilt by yourself or team up with a friend. Quilts must be hand or machine quilted. Please don’t tie it.
