Dues
2010 membership dues are now due. At the November meeting it was voted to discontinue our membership with TVQA and keep the dues at $25.00. Please bring your check (made out to Ritzy Thimble Quilt Guild) to the January meeting Thank you. Pat Lakers, Treasurer
Note: Dues need to be current by the February 15 meeting to participate in meetings, classes and to receive the newsletter.
Program
We will have two speakers, Faye Greenwood will give the details of the bus trip shop hop to Virginia.
The second speaker is Jodi Savage who will be showing her wonderful applique quilts and briefly explaining the technique that she uses. If we are interested she will teach a class in the spring. - Bev Calvert
Secretary Minutes - December 2009
We had our Christmas gathering with about 30 members attending and we played the dice game and enjoyed finger foods. 114 pillowcases were donated to Adfac.
Reminder the meeting room is available from 4:30 until 8:30 anyone wishing to come early and sew you are welcome.
Dinner at Panera, Oak Ridge at 4:30 prior to the meeting - a great way to get to know guild members.
Hospitality House quilt challenge will be announced - June will be here before we know it.
Mystery Quilt - details will be given - this could be the year participate in a fun program.

Newsletter - the newsletter will be sent in a email form. I have also set up a blog spot where the newsletter will be posted along with pictures and various other information . You can view the page but if you want to become a member of the blog and be able to comment you will have to set up an account if you don't already have one. Hopefully this will alleviate issue of people not being able to receive emails with pictures.

Scholarship - A member has donated funds to set up a scholarship fund for any active member of the guild who would like to participate in a workshop or a quilt related class. If you would like to contribute to this scholarshop program or apply for a scholarshop please contact Wanda Somers.
