PROGRAM:

Hospitality House Presentation and Party - Cindy Conrad

Cindy gave a warm welcome and thanked our friends from the Hospitality House for hosting the party at the Cheyenne Building again this year. She introduced Kim Maes and her assistant, Monica Mathis. One of the Hospitality House Volunteers, Ronnie, and her husband were also at our meeting to take some pictures. Kim shared some stories about individuals who have received some of our quilts and gave the following statistics from the last 3 years:

- provided 5800 nights of stay.
- over 1000 guests from 35 counties, 25 states with 1 international guest.
- 10 to 20 quilts are given away yearly.

Cindy Conrad explained how we would be voting on the quilts for the various categories. The Categories and winners were listed on a ballot and members of the guild were allowed time to enjoy the refreshments and get a closer look at each quilt.

We had 31 BEAUTIFUL quilts donated and our friends from the Hospitality House certainly put on a nice party for us!!! The food was great - sandwiches, salad makings, TWO CAKES!

Everyone that turned in a quilt got a new charm.
