Some discussion took place about the information Peggy Durgin, our speaker in May, shared with us. They need small quilts for girls up to 18 years of age and for boys younger than 12. Linda Cole volunteered to be the contact person for our guild to deliver any quilts we make to donate for this special cause. Thank you Linda!

Program & Speaker:

Twisted Sisters owners Margaret and Mary were our special guests this month. They are the new owners of the former Pappy's Quilt Shop in Maryville. They brought items for us to shop and shared some background about how they ended up in East Tennessee from Columbus, Ohio. Margaret told about their employees and instructors and provided a list of classes they offer. They are involved in many quilting related projects such as the Pillowcase Challenge, Project Linus, Quilts of Valor, Mission of Hope, etc. just to name a few. They do have a Facebook page and website. We enjoyed the presentation and the opportunity to shop!
